DIY Blizzard Bootcamp

There’s a blizzard happening in my neck of the woods and it’s looking like we’re going to be stuck inside for the better part of 24 hours. All of my fitness classes are cancelled tomorrow and the gym is CLOSED. Instead of succumbing to a day of cabin fever, I plan on starting my day getting my heart pumping and my muscles moving. YES, even with the kid in the house and with limited space.
First, I’m starting with the 7 Minute Workout (see here for a video option). I love this when time is limited. If you think that you just aren’t going to have any time tomorrow, just go through this once and you’re good to go. I have a bit longer, so I’m adding in TWO sets of:
2 minutes of jumping jacks
then 4 rounds of 30 seconds of burpees followed by 30-60 seconds of resting
then 2 minutes of alternating lunges
then 4 rounds of 30 seconds planks (every other one being a side plank)
If I have anything left, I’ll do that 7 minute workout again.
